Connecting your calendar
Calendar matching links a recording to the right calendar event, so your meeting automatically gets the correct title, time and attendees. For that, Besluit.ai needs your calendar's private iCal URL: a read-only link that lives in a different place for each provider.
Found the URL? Paste it in the dashboard under Settings, in the Calendar section.
Google Calendar
- Open Google Calendar in your browser (calendar.google.com).
- Click the gear icon in the top right and choose Settings.
- In the left sidebar under "Settings for my calendars", click the calendar you want to connect.
- Scroll to the "Integrate calendar" section.
- Copy the URL labelled "Secret address in iCal format". Don't use the public address, that only works for public calendars.
Can't see the secret address, or is it greyed out? On work or school accounts, your administrator may have disabled sharing calendars outside the organisation.
Outlook (Microsoft 365 and Outlook.com)
- Open Outlook on the web and go to the Calendar.
- Click the gear icon in the top right and go to Calendar, then Shared calendars.
- Under "Publish a calendar", choose the calendar you want to connect and select the permission "Can view all details".
- Click Publish.
- Copy the ICS link (not the HTML link).
iCloud (Apple)
- Open the Calendar app on your Mac, or go to iCloud.com and open Calendar.
- Click the share icon next to the name of the calendar you want to connect.
- Check "Public Calendar".
- Copy the link shown.
Apple's link starts with webcal://. Replace that prefix with https:// before pasting it into Besluit.ai.
What does Besluit.ai do with your calendar?
Besluit.ai only reads your calendar, it never writes to or changes anything in it. The calendar is only fetched when you view a day on the upload page, to show ended meetings you can link a recording to. From the event you pick, we store the title, start and end time, and the attendee list with the meeting. The URL itself is stored with your account and can be removed at any time via Settings.
